First Stage Nasal Reconstruction | Post-Op.

(September 20, 2008) Here you can see the severe open wounds and scars left by the "First Stage Nasal Reconstruction: Forehead Flap to Reshape Nose." The deep sanguine red of the wound near my scalp healed dramatically well into a rosy pink color, closer to my normal flesh tones. From this photo, you can see the hair at the tip of my forehead flap / nose stripped unbecomingly from the edge of my scalp. So now, I always have to remember to shave my nose, along with my beard. It's annoying! I'm going to ask my plastic surgeons to permanently remove the hair there. I hope they can!
